I was pretty excited when I ordered this vacuum. It looks great and has a lot of features. Well, I have to say that after vacuuming for 10 minutes I determined this vacuum was not worth my time.
Pros:
-Converts to a canister
-Has nano-silver technology to kill germs that are sucked into the vacuum and therefore it is putting back out germ-free air
-You can shut off the brush roll for bare floors.
-Came with a bare floor attachment.
-Converts between canister and upright pretty easily
Cons:
-Handle is wobbly when connected to the upright (probably unavoidable since it disconnects for use as a canister)
-Has horrible suction - this was a deal breaker. I have 2 dogs and it just wasn't sucking up the dog hair at all. Yes I checked the settings.
-The hose is VERY short. It was only about 5 feet when I pulled as hard as I could. I'm not sure how that is supposed to work with a canister vacuum, I'd imagine it would keep hitting you while you were trying to vacuum. And it certainly would not work well for stairs. What a nightmare.
-The dust cup is supposed to be less messy - you push a button and hopefully the bottom drops. That's all fine and good until you take into account that you have to take off the top of the canister and remove the accordion style filter. This sucker had tons of dirt and dust in it already with me just vacuuming for a few minutes. I would imagine that will clog very quickly and have a serious impact on the already poor suction.
Bottom line: don't waste your money. This vacuum couldn't even suck up a cracker crumb (and I do mean CRUMB). I returned this one and replaced it with a Eureka 8852DVZ Capture Plus Pet Lover and couldn't be happier.
