We got this recently based on comparisons of Amazon reviews and also looking at specifications of others.
One thing that attracted this to me is the induction motor. I want one that is powerful, as I've actually overheated
the one that this has replaced and got the motor to smelling hot while doing dough.
Haven't done a batch of dough yet, but I plan on doing so.
This has plenty of power, but is smooth. It is well balanced, and therefore, does not move around a whole lot while under power.
One handy thing that my Wife discovered is that if you put little cardboard pieces under the rubber feet, it will not leave black marks on the counter
when you slide it in and out. It also makes it move a little smoother.
For the capacity and power, it fits nicely on our counter top in it's own little corner.
Fit and finish on the product seem to be good. I was a trifle alarmed to discover that it's made in China. We'll see how that works.
I sent in the registration card so if something goes wrong, I'll be getting a hold of them.
But so far I've sliced vegetables up, done several grinding and chopping jobs, and the machine takes them smoothly and in stride.
Using the slicing attachments worked well, they attach safely with a lot of built in safety mechanisms, and do not vibrate excessively.
It comes with a pretty nice DVD you can watch to show you how different processes work as they do several recipes there.
I intend on this being a kind of legacy appliance, one I shall have for a number of years and help us out with cooking. That was my intent.
So far I like it. We also got the blade cabinet to hold its attachments, and that works out well. They fit nicely in this, but if you have a smaller machine, some of your blades and such may
not fit in this unit so beware..
All in all, I don't regret purchasing this one bit, and love it so far...
